Learning Beyond the Classroom
At KB-TK Santo Agustinus, we believe that the world is a vibrant classroom waiting to be explored. Established in 1977, our school has always prioritized hands-on experiences that stay in a child's heart forever. Recently, our little explorers traded their desks for the great outdoors, embarking on an Educational Trip designed to spark curiosity and joy.
Growing the SMART Way
This trip was more than just a day out; it was a carefully crafted journey rooted in our SMART values:
S - Spiritual: We began our day with gratitude, marveling at the beauty of God’s creation in every plant and animal we encountered.
M - Meaningful: By stepping into the real world, abstract lessons became "Meaningful" as children touched, felt, and saw the environment firsthand.
A - Adaptable: Navigating new surroundings helped our students become "Adaptable," building their confidence and independence in a safe yet exciting new space.
R - Reflective: Back at school, we shared our stories, encouraging "Reflective" thinking as children expressed what they learned and how they felt.
T - Talented: From keen observers to little storytellers, every child’s unique "Talent" shone through as they interacted with the world around them.
Building Character for Life
These adventures are where "Curiosity Meets Character". By exploring together, we foster a strong sense of community between teachers, students, and parents. We are not just teaching lessons; we are Building Character for Life.
